Our Board

The Board of Diligenta sets the direction and monitors its ongoing business, ensuring effective internal controls that manage risk and satisfy compliance requirements. The Board was established in December 2005 and comprises six directors.

		N Chandrasekaran (Chandra) - Chairman & Non Executive Director, Diligenta, CEO, TCS Natarajan Chandrasekaran (Chandra) is Chairman of Diligenta and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services. Responsible for formulating and executing the company's global strategy, Chandra has been at the helm of several key strategic transitions at TCS since 2002 when he took over the role as Head of Global Sales. As Chief Operating Officer since 2007, he has been the architect of the new organisation structure unveiled in 2008 which created multiple agile business units focused on domains and markets as well as built strategic business units in order to pursue new initiatives with the ability to invest, develop and mature new ideas..
		Phiroz Vandrevala - Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Diligenta As the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Diligenta, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) focused on the Life & Pensions industry, Phiroz Vandrevala is responsible for driving the business strategy and operations of the organisation and opportunities globally. Phiroz is also a Director on the Board of Tata Consultancy Services, the global leader in IT services, consulting and business solutions and part of the Senior Leadership team.
		A.S. Lakshminarayanan (Lakshmi) - President - Business Group A S Lakshminarayanan (Lakshmi) heads up three TCS business units, which account for over 19% of TCS’s global revenues. Lakshmi formerly was VP and head of Europe. He is a member of the TCS global leadership team and has served in the company for over 25 years. During his tenure of over 10 years in this region, Lakshmi has overseen strong expansion of TCS’ business including a doubling of operations over the 3 year period 2006-09. He has spearheaded the development of major client relationships and the founding of the European consulting practice. Lakshmi was instrumental in setting up Diligenta Limited in 2005, which currently has 1800+ employees providing services to the company’s insurance clients worldwide. In 2005, TCS received a special investment award from UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, in recognition of its contribution to the UK economy. Earlier, Lakshmi had founded TCS’ global Insurance practice, which he headed until 1999. He joined TCS in 1983 and has served in a variety of consulting, management and client relationship roles across the world.
		Sir Bob Reid - Non-Executive Director & Chairman of Audit Committee Sir Bob is Chairman of ICE Futures Europe and holds directorships with Intercontinental Exchange Inc, EEA Helicopter Operations and Jubilant Energy. He is Chairman of the Foundation for Young Musicians and Learning Through Landscapes. He is former Chairman and Chief Executive of Shell UK Limited (1985-1990) and he was Chairman of British Rail in the run up to privatisation, and held the post of Deputy Governor of the Bank of Scotland until 2004.
		Suresh Menon - Chief Executive Officer Suresh is a Vice President of TCS and joined Diligenta in 2006 as Director of Strategic Operations. He was appointed CEO of Diligenta in early 2008. Since joining TCS in 1986, he has held a number of senior executive positions within the organisation in India, Europe and Australasia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Physics and a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science.
		Neil Reynolds - Chief Financial Officer Neil is Diligenta’s Chief Financial Officer and responsible for Diligenta’s financial governance. He drives financial performance through a robust regulatory framework. As well as being a Board member Neil has also been a part of the Executive Management Team since Diligenta’s conception in April 2006. Neil is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has over twenty years of financial experience in multi-national organisations.
