Diligenta set up by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to propel it into the Life and Pensions business process services arena.

Diligenta secures a £486 million deal with The Phoenix Group (formerly known as the Pearl Group). Offering a full BPS, including the administration of circa 4 million policies, Diligenta provides a number of The Phoenix Group companies with call centre, back office administration, IT, HR, finance and accounting services.

Diligenta secures a £100 million contract to deliver BPS services to Sun Life Financial of Canada’s UK operations (SLF UK), which involves administering a further 500,000 policies.

Diligenta takes over the services previously provided by Unisys Insurance Services Ltd to The Phoenix Group, (taking on the administration of a further 1.7 million policies in a deal worth £250 million).
TCS, supported by Diligenta, provides scheme administration for NEST.

Diligenta announces a new deal with Friends Life (now part of the Aviva Group), worth £1.37 billion over a term of 15 years, to assume the responsibility for the administration of 3.2 million policies. This major deal underpins Diligenta’s position in the Life and Pensions BPS market place.
Migration of nearly 4 million policies from 11 existing IT platforms on to TCS BaNCS on behalf of The Phoenix Group.

Following further migrations, over 5 million policies are now on TCS BaNCS on behalf of The Phoenix Group.
Service commencement for Friends Life (now part of the Aviva Group).

A further 1 million policies migrated on behalf of Friends Life (now part of Aviva group).

Diligenta secures a further multi-million pound, multi-year contract to support the international operations of the Friends Life Group - Friends Provident International.
A further 200,000 policies migrated on behalf of The Phoenix Group, bringing the total number of policies migrated to TCS BaNCS on behalf of The Phoenix Group to 5.5 million.

A further 1.5 million policies migrated on behalf of Friends Life.
TCS, supported by Diligenta, secures a new deal with RPMI.

Another 3.7 million policies migrated on behalf of Friends Life (now part of the Aviva Group). In total, 6.2 million heritage Friends Life policies have been migrated on TCS BaNCS.
A total of 11.7 million policies from multiple legacy platforms have been migrated on to TCS BaNCS in the last decade.

Diligenta announced a new 15 year partnership with Scottish Widows, Lloyds Banking Group’s Life and Pensions business. Diligenta will support Scottish Widows to provide end-to-end policy administration services for its 4 million heritage customers on TCS BaNCS, to manage its assets in life, pensions and investment products.

Diligenta announced a new 10 year partnership with M&G Prudential covering 5.8 million customer policies. Diligenta will digitally transform M&G Prudential's business and deliver an enhanced service for its UK savings and retirement customers.
Diligenta currently administers over 18 million policies on its BFSI platform, powered by TCS BaNCS.The partnership with the Phoenix Group is expanded to 5.5million policies.

Diligenta secures a further 4.2m policies from The Phoenix Group to drive growth and transformation of the Standard Life business.

Diligenta to acquire the customer administration and servicing of ReAssure’s 3 million policies on behalf of The Phoenix Group.
